FRIENDS OF THE SISK OBSERVATORY
This site is dedicated to all those through the years, starting with my family, whom without their faith, love, assistance and support, none of this would have been possible. Thanks to my father, Herb (1928-2005), my mother, Wanda, my wife, Sandra (the original heavenly body), my son, Michael and his wife Jackie, my daughter, Emily and her husband Nick Smith, and to my brother and sister-in-law Danny and Sharon who helped us make the big move back to Kansas.
As with any project of this size, duration and complexity, many people have been involved to offer their help and individual expertise. I want to acknowledge many of these people and businesses who through the years made this observatory what it is. Our gratitude goes out to the following:

We will brag on Axel Mellinger's work for him. We were awed by

visit his website and enjoy all his images.
OTHER TIDBITS OF INTEREST
During our tenure in Arkansas, Dr. Sisk (light suit) and two of his
colleagues, Dr. Johnny Paine and Dr. Steve Reiman, visit with then
Governor Bill Clinton about the future of health care in Arkansas. We
had no idea in 1989 that he would become the next president.
